SVG stays sharp at any size, best for printers and designers. PNG is 1024 px, fine for screens and documents.
Easiest: your Business Profile review link
- Sign in to Google with the account that manages your business, then search your business name on Google or open Google Maps.
- In your Business Profile, choose “Ask for reviews” (sometimes under “Read reviews” or “Get more reviews”).
- Copy the link Google shows you (it looks like g.page/r/…/review) and paste it above.
Or: find your Place ID
- Open Google's free Place ID Finder page.
- Type your business name in the search box on the map and pick it from the list.
- Copy the Place ID (it starts with ChIJ in most cases) and paste it above.
What is a Google review link?
A Google review link is a URL that opens the “write a review” box for your business directly, with the stars ready to tap. Customers don't have to search for you, pick the right listing or scroll to find the button, which is where most review requests lose people.
The most reliable format is built from your Place ID: https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid= followed by the ID. Google's own “Ask for reviews” link from your Business Profile (g.page/r/…/review) does the same job and is a good choice if you'd rather not look up the ID.
Where to use the link and QR code
Use the link wherever the conversation with a customer already happens: the follow-up text or email after a visit, your receipt or invoice footer, a booking confirmation, or your email signature.
Use the QR code where people are physically present: a counter card at checkout, a sticker on the door, table tents, the last page of a menu, a card left after a home service visit, or on a screen in your waiting room. Print the card from this page, or download the SVG and drop it into your own design.
Tips that get more people to actually leave a review
Ask soon, while the visit is fresh, and ask everyone: Google's policies don't allow filtering requests to only happy customers or offering anything in exchange for a review. Keep the ask short and make the link the obvious next step.
With several locations, create one link and one QR code per location, so reviews land on the right profile. ReputRadar does this for every connected location automatically and shows how many times each link and QR code is opened.
